Amberson rd. Fannett Twp. at14:10 to assist Fannett - Metal Co.
12 with a dwelling fire. Units arrived on scene and 21's crews
assisted with overhaul and salvage operations before returning
to service 16:14pm

While Company 21 units worked a house fire
on Amberson Road the 21-02 box was sounded for a vehicle
accident on Richmond Road at Acacia Trail. Transfer engine 43
responded to the scene with Ambulance 21-8, 9-8 and Medic 118.
Units arrived to find two vehicles with 2 patients and 2
refusals. Crew from Engine 43 assisted with patient packaging
and controlled hazards. Going into service a short time later

2 for the day in the morning at 4:10am
21.1 responded to the 16000 block MT. Green Rd. Fannett Twp. to
assist Co. 12 with a reported auto fire next to a structure
while in route co.12 units arrived on scene determined that no
services were needed from us before placing our units in
service
Later that day at 16:04 pm Co. 21 units
was called to the 3500 block Forbes Road Metal Twp. for reported
chimney fire. Units arrived on scene
Cleared the structure of any possible fire
extension and cleaned the chimney of all hazards before
returning to service

At 19:57pm 21-1 & 21-2 responded to the
200 block Skyhigh Rd. Peters Twp. to assist M.M.P.W. Co. 9 for a
reported chimney fire while in route co. 9 units arrived on
scene determined no service was needed from us there at
the scene. At which time 21-1 was then diverted to Co. 9
quarters to standby while 21-2 returned to service

Co. 21 was called to the 17919 Cedar Ave.
at 5:11am for electrical fire in the dwelling units arrived on
scene to find no fire but light smoke condition present crew
from 21-1 disconnected the power and cleared the structure of
any possible hot spots with the (Thermo Imaging Camera) T.I.C
before returning to service at 5:40am

lucked out and only had 1 public service call for flooding in
which 21-1 responded to the 9600 block Sweetwater Rd.
Called at 15:37 pm to
clear a basement with the use of a portable pump before returning to

with a 2 vehicle accident with minor injuries

patient was transported by 21-8 to local medical facility before
returning to service.

to assist Hustontown co. 57 with a reported dwelling fire
units arrived on scene and found negative fire in the are. All

Company. 21 units responded to
the 4600 block Path Valley Road for an auto fire Chief 21
arrived on scene with one auto well involved with fire in the
north bound lane fire was extinguished and auto was removed from
the scene before returning to service at 20:39 hrs. Assisting
on the call was an Ambulance 9-7 from Mercersburg Company 9 Fire
Police from St. Thomas Company 18 also assisted.

West to assist on a wood pile fire next to a structure. Command
12 determined no services were needed placing us available

185.1 west bound of the PA. Turnpike for truck fire units
arrived on with a small fire in the engine compartment of a
tractor trailer the fire was extinguished and unit returned to
service at 17:53 hrs

Fire unit arrived on scene to
find a 2 vehicle non injury accident blocking the Fannettsburg
Road East and West. Personnel directed traffic thru the
intersection and controlled other hazards till the roadway was
cleared by tow service before returning to service

arrived on scene with 1 auto blocking the north and south bound
lanes. Fire company personnel controlled hazards at the scene
while traffic was diverted around Back Road by fire police until

22000 block of Decorum Rd. to assist Huntington County Co. 14
with a barn fire. Upon arrival 21-1 was directed by
command 14 to establish a fill site at a nearby stream along
route 641 filling tankers to shuttle water back to the fire
scene before returning to service at 3:30am

At 22:02 ENG. 21-2 was called
to establish a landing zone at Company 21 quarters. EMS crews
from Metal Twp. Ambulance 21-8 / Med 1-18 and Fannett - Metal
Ambulance 12-8 / Med 84 with a pair of burn victims they had as
a result of a pressure cooker malfunction. Patients were air
lifted by Life Lion.

requested Engine 21-1 to establish fill site for a tanker

At 18:37 Co. 21 responded to the
4400 block Path Valley Road for a motor cycle accident with
assist of Fannett-Metal Ambulance 12-9 & Medic 1-18. Units
arrived on scene with 1 cycle down an embankment. Patient was
air lifted by Stat Med Evac to local trauma center. Thanks
also to Company 18 for setting up landing zone.

At 13:28 pm Co. 21 responded to
2349 Path Valley Road for an auto accident . Units arrived on
scene to find one auto fully engulfed by fire, off the south
bound shoulder in to a tree. The crew from 21-2 went to work
extinguishing the fire and controlling traffic while 21-8
transported the driver to local medical facility to be
treated for injuries. Units remained on scene until the roadway
could be cleared before returning to service

In the early hours Co. 21 was called to assist
Huntington County Co. 14 Shade Gap with a building fire in the
village Neelyton Co. 21's unit arrived on scene and assisted
with salvage and overhaul operations before returning to service.
Many of our guys had worked all day at the fest and had just
made it to bed.

Activities for the 17th annual
Fest parade was briefly interrupted when Co. 21s unit's were
called to the 2300 block Path Valley Rd. for auto accident
reported overturned. Units arrived on scene confirming
dispatch one auto on its roof blocking both lanes with
patient self extricated. The patient was packaged and
transported by 21-8 to the local medical facility with fire
police remaining on scene till road was cleared

auto accident units arrived on the scene assisted with patient
removal before going available.

Co. 21 responded to the 10000
block of Richmond Rd. for an auto accident. A tractor trailer
over turned. Units arrived on scene to find a tanker
hauling asphalt on its side blocking the lanes with utility pole
and wires down. Material leaking from the trailer a catch basin
was constructed using the drainage ditch to keep the
leaking material from spreading until the wreckage could be
cleared.

the 19000 block of Swales Road for outside investigation of
smoke in the area units cleared the area with nothing found
returning to service at 18:12pm
Later that evening at 20:51, Co.
21 unit were called to assist Company 12 at 18000 block Main
Street Dry Run for a dryer fire inside a residence that call
ended with a transfer to Co.12's Quarters

accident, units arrived on scene to find one motor cycle &
operator down an embankment. Patient was packed and transported
by 21-8 to the Landing zone.

the trauma center
for treatment of the injury sustained in the
crash

the roadway into the woods on the southbound shoulder with
patient self extricated. Ambulance 21-8 transported

care of any roadway hazards & securing the auto
with fire police
remaining on the scene for PSP and vehicle removal.

a cow with neither the cow or the vehicle faired out well in
this case, the roadway was cleared with units going

contained to the flue pipe between oil furnace and chimney.
Fire was extinguished and affected area

accident. Reported roll over with possible entrapment on
Fannettsburg Road West. Co. 21 units arrived on scene to find
one auto on its side neg. entrapment. Patient was
removed from
auto by fire personnel and transported via amb.21-8 assisted by
Fulton County Medic 60 to local hospital.
Company 12 was
alerted for landing zone but was cancelled. Chopper could not
fly due to weather.

At 11:17 am, January 29,
2009, Company 21 responded to auto accident overturned with
entrapment. Units arrived on the scene finding one auto
into utility pole with heavy damage to the driver side
compartment and roof area. Driver side door was removed to
gain access to the patient, patient then was packaged and
transported to the landing zone established at Company 21
quarters air lifted by Stat MedEvac 13 to local trauma
center.

Fort Loudon Inn Fire.
January 27th Co. 21 was called to
assist Co. 9 for a building fire with entrapment at 13073 Main
Street, Fort Loudon. 21-1 was directed by command 9 to set
up primary draft site at 12700 Main Street Fort Loudon, the
Conecocheaque Creek .The crew of 21-1 had to cut thru 4"
- 5" of ice to get to the water and establishing the necessary
supply to fill the 11 tanker shuttle with 150,000 gallons of
water supplied to the scene.
