Communications alerted Company 21
to 24968 Locke Road in Huntingdon County for a garage fire at
1745. Units arrived on scene to find a well involved garage.
Engine 21- and 21-2 assisted with water supply with personnel
assisting Huntingdon County Company 14(Shade Gap) personnel with
overhaul. Company 21 units were placed available at 1902.

8161 Path Valley Road proved to
be a popular place for Company 21 personnel. Due to heavy rains
we were called a total of 3 times to pump a basement at this
residence. Personnel even left a pump in the basement to help
keep up for almost a 24 hour period

At 2130 units were dispatched to
mile marker 180.3 westbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike for a
tractor and trailer fire. Units arrived to find a tractor
hauling a car trailer with one of the vehicles on the trailer on
fire. Engine 21-2 personnel put a quick knock on the fire and
units went available at 2232.

School for smoke in the building. Personnel arrived and

Company 21 units to the area of the Fannettsburg Inn for an auto
accident with an unconscious subject. Units arrived to find one
vehicle off the roadway with one self extricated patient. After
a visit from an unruly bystander and some tense moments, the
crew from ambulance 21-8 obtained a patient refusal. Units went
available at 421.

at 1902 to the area of 3210 Path Valley Road for an auto
accident. Units arrived to find one vehicle off the roadway
with all four patients out of the vehicle. Ambulance 21-8

1554 for a motorcycle accident on Mill Lane in the area of the
old campground. Units arrived to find one patient with head
trauma. Stat Medi Vac 12 was dispatched to the ballfield at the
station to transport the patient. Engine 21-2 handled the
landing zone while Ambulance 21-8 and Medic 118 handled patient
care. Units went available at 1640.

1840 to assist Co.9 (MMP&W) with a chimney fire at 300 Aughwick
Road in Peters Township. While enroute 21-1 was placed

dispatched to 3202 Path Valley Road for an auto accident. Units
arrived to find one vehicle off the roadway into a small tree.
Engine 21-2 assisted with traffic control and ambulance 21-8
obtained one patient refusal and transported one patient to
Chambersburg Hospital. Units were placed available at 110.

Road at 223 this morning for an auto accident. While enroute
communications advised one vehicle overturned in the roadway.
Units arrived to find the vehicle but no patients. After a
quick search, units went available at 303

Communications alerted the 21-01
box at 1616 to 12625 Path Valley Road for an auto versus a horse
and buggy with a patient lying in the roadway. Units arrived to
find the patient but the horse and buggy fled the scene. After
patient assessment, Stat Medi vac was dispatched to land at the
firehouse. Engine 21-2 cleared the accident and handled the
landing zone. Stat 12's crew was placed into service and
ambulance 21-8 continued ground transport to Chambersburg
Hospital. Units went available at 1710

At 1753 the
21-76 box was dispatched to the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the
180 mile marker west bound for a vehicle accident. Units
arrived to find a tractor and trailer versus a wrecking
ball, yes you read it correctly, a wrecking ball.
Apparently the wrecking ball fell off another west bound
truck and was laying in the middle of the turnpike. Units
contained multiple fluids leaking from the tractor as EMS
obtained a patient refusal. The box was placed available at
1842.

At 2255
communications alerted engine 21-1 to 11691 Nellyton Road in
Huntington County for a chimney fire. Enroute to the fire
the assignment was changed to a transfer to Shade Gap Co.
14. Engine 21-1 went available at 0100.
At 2016
engine 21-1 was alerted for a transfer to Pleasant Hall Co.
11, while they handled a dwelling fire. Receiving no calls,
21-1 went available at 2122.

At 1827 hours Company 21 was
alerted to provide a landing zone for Stat MediVac 12 at the ball field in
Fannettsburg. Ambulance 21-8 was en route with an injured subject from the
result of a golf cart accident. Engine 21-1 handled the landing zone while
personnel assisted with loading the patient into the helicopter. Units went
available at 1912.

While keeping with the Tractor
and Trailer theme, at 634 hours communications alerted the 21-01 box to
Fannettsburg Road East at the top of the mountain for one overturned. Units
arrived to find the vehicle, which was hauling hay, at the first horeshoe turn
in Letterkenny Township. Engine 21-2 assisted on scene until the arrival of PSP
while Ambulance 21-8 obtained a refusal. Units went available at 651.

the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the area of the 188 mile marker west bound for a a
tractor and trailer on fire. Engine 21-2 arrived with a working fire requesting
Tanker 12 (FMFD). Units put a quick knock on the fire and went available at
0016.

At 2259, while trying to round up the kids for
bedtime at the 3rd annual Kids Weekend, communications alerted Company 21 to the
area of the humpback bridge on Fannettsburg Road East for an auto accident.
Units arrived on scene to find one vehicle into a tree with confinement. After
stabilizing the vehicle, the crew from engine 21-2 did a quick door pop and
assisted ems with packaging. Units went available at 2322 just in time to tuck
in all the kids.

At 1958 communications alerted Company 21 units
to 20 West Seminary Street in the Borough of Mercersburg for a second alarm
assignment of the dwelling fire. Engines 21-1 and 21-2 responded , while Engine
21-2 was placed into service enroute, Engine 21-1 made it to the scene just in
time to get transferred to Company 9. Handling no calls, Engine 21-1 went
available at 0044.

At 1734 communications alerted the 21-02 box to
3624 Path Valley Road for an auto accident with confinement. Units arrived at
the intersection of Path Valley and Richmond Road to find 2 autos involved with
confinement. Air medical and a second BLS unit from MMP&W were also alerted to
the scene. Engine 21-2 controlled hazards and set up the landing zone for Stat
Medivac 13. After patient transfer to Stat Medivac personnel, units went
available at 1905.

a landing zone at Company 21's quarters. Ambulance 21-8 was on the scene with a
burn victim and called for air medical. Engine 21-1 handled the landing zone

auto accident. Units arrived to find 2 vehicles involved on the
hump back bridge. An ambulance from Co. 12 (FMFD) was alerted
for a second patient. Engine 21-2 assisted EMS units with
packaging, going available at 1751.

At 2212 the 21-01 box was alerted
to 12864 Path Valley Road for an auto accident. Units arrived
to find one vehicle into a pole splitting the car in half, with
the rear half of the vehicle into a house. Several additional
BLS and ALS units were requested along with air medical. Engine
21-2 assisted at the scene with Engine 21-1 handling the landing
zone at the former TJ's restaurant. A total of 2 patients were
flown with ambulance 21-8, 12-8, 12-9, Medic 101, 118 and 56
assisting with EMS. Units cleared at 0013.

At 924 communications alerted
the 21-01 box to 15728 mountain Green Road for a brush
fire. Units arrived to find approximately a half acre
involved. Engine 21-1 and Brush 12 contained the fire going
available at 1021.
At 1453 the 21-02 box was
alerted for another brush fire. This one being at the 15000
block of Hartman Drive. Units arrived to find approximately
a half acre involved there as well. Engine 21-1, Brush 12,
and several units from Company 9 (MMP&W) contained the fire
and went available at 1606.

The 21-01 box was alerted at
1548 for a brush fire at 9085 Sweetwater Road. Company 21
arrived to find extension into a 10x40 outbuilding. The box
was upgraded alerting units from Company 12. The
outbuilding fire was contained along with the surrounding
brush fire. After extensive overhaul units went available at
1730.

Units were alerted at 1945 to
15586 Myers Drive for an ATV accident. Units arrived to
find the accident to be on Forbes Road with one ATV into a
tree. BLS called for air medical for one female patient.
Engine 21-2 handled the landing zone for Stat Medivac. Also
a certain former fire chief from Company 21 (there is only
one!!!) handled getting the engine stuck in the mud!
Special thanks to Gish Logging and Jr Booze Towing and
Recovery service for assisting with pulling out the
engine!! Units went available (all be it a little dirtier)
at 2104.

find a small area with the fire put out my homeowners. The crew
from engine 21-1 wet down the area to prevent a rekindle.

alerted to the 4500 block of Path Valley Raod for an auto
accident with entrapment. Untis arrived to find one vehicle on
its roof with negative entrapment. EMS called for air medical
and was advised to meet them at the hospital. The crew from
Engine 21-2 assisted EMS with packaging and contained a fuel
leak, with units going available at 2332.

malfunction. Units arrived to find a furnace with a clogged
nozzle. Personnel ventilated the dwelling and turned off the
power to the furnace. the homeowners were advised to stay out of
the home for the remainder of the night due to the high kerosene
